The Laurel Haven Conservation Education Center is 50-acre educational forest located in the Bald Eagle Valley, a few miles north of State College, Pennsylvania. The Center, which is part of the Laurel Haven Tree Farm, is dedicated to wise natural resources conservation through sustainable forestry practices. Now a part of Penn State's School of Forest Resources, Laurel Haven was the creation of two former Penn State College of Education faculty members. They had visions to create a facility where everyone, from toddlers to senior citizens, could learn about conservation the right way — outside and hands–on.
