There are several different ways to post your position opening on the School of Forest Resources web page.

1. Preferred method: e-mail to Jamie Murphy: jam563@psu.edu

Please submit a web address if your position is already posted on your own website. If it is not, you may send the job description as a pdf file, as a Word or rtf attachment, or in the body of your email and we will format it for web viewing.

2. Snail Mail

Send your job announcement to:

3. Fax toJamie Murphy at (814) 865-3725. Faxed announcements should be scannable with clear legible text and no graphics.

4. Policies

  • Updates are made weekly
  • Announcements will be removed after the closing date or one month after posting if no closing date is supplied.
  • The School is not responsible for changes made to announcements after they have been posted or for typos in the listing
  • If you find a typo in your announcement, please e-mail Jamie Murphy (jam563@psu.edu) and reference the job number listed in the title bar of the posting, job title and company.

Need help writing your job description? The following information should be included when available:

  • Position title
  • Type of position: Full time, part time, temporary/seasonal, or internship
  • Starting date (and ending date if applicable)
  • Position description
  • Duties
  • Required skills, experience, and/or education
  • Salary
  • Benefits (including housing, vehicle, etc.)
  • Application deadline
  • Application materials requested
